I am a TV Jeopardy fan. Last week, they had a clue for which the answer was rage bait. I had heard the term and knew that answer. However, I later found out that it was not that well known. It is a behavior that preys on your emotions for a response. Therefore, it is appropriate for this column. Let me start with an example. Assume you saw two headlines. Vacation Bible School at Saint Matthews First Baptist Church

Saint Matthews First Baptist Church is hosting their Annual Vacation Bible School starting Monday, Aug. 3, through Thursday, Aug. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 106 Gibson Avenue in Laurel. All kids ages three and up are invited to attend. The church will share age-appropriate Bible lessons, free lunch, games, toys, and fun. On Friday, Aug. 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a block party. Everyone is invited. Come out and enjoy the day with free hot dogs and hamburgers. There will be vendors, games, and lots of fun. The block party rain date is Saturday, Aug. 8.
