Joanne Ruth Culver of Bridgeville, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.  

She was born in Baltimore, Md. on May 19, 1940, daughter of the late Hilby Burke Langrall and Gladys Ruth Langrall.

Mrs. Culver was a graduate of Eastern High School in Baltimore and built a career with Catholic Charities there. She loved music and was a talented piano player as well as a member of the church choir. Mrs. Culver enjoyed cross-stitching and spending time at the beach. Above all, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Culver is survived by her beloved husband, Merlin Fraser Culver of Bridgeville; her son, Leroy Rimbach of Arizona; her daughter, Jennifer Milone of North Ridge, Calif.; her brothers, Burke Langrall (Jean) of Oklahoma and Dennis Langrall (Lynn) of Selbyville; her sisters, Audrey Galloway (Jim) of Newnan, Ga. and Carole Dell’Amore (Jean) of Odenton, Md.; her nieces, Christine and Suzann; and her nephews, David, Daniel and Matthew.

A funeral service was held on Friday, Feb. 28, at Victory Baptist Church, Bridgeville. Interment took place at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery, Parkville, Md. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Mrs. Culver’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 108 N. Bedford St., Georgetown, DE 19947.
