Maureen Joan Murray, nee Kelledy, of Seaford passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Maureen was born in Greenwich Village, New York on Oct. 1, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Patricia Kelledy. She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School and Rider College where she obtained her paralegal degree.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Seaford. Maureen was very active with the American Legion Auxiliary Nanticoke Post 6 in Seaford where she was past president and then Department of Delaware State President.
She was the devoted mother of Patricia Murray Tews (Howard), James Murray (Susan) and her loving grandchildren Moira Colleen Tews, Aideen Elizabeth Tews and Shamus Murray.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
