Virginia “Ginny” Tull Thawley Perdue of Seaford passed away on April 3, 2026.
She was born to Robert and Grace Tull, and grew up working in her family’s business, Tull’s (Tull Brothers). She had an early interest in astronomy, horses, and painting.
She married Gene Thawley, and together they shared 28 years of marriage until his passing. During that time, she devoted herself to her home and family.
She enjoyed singing and was involved in her church community at Atlanta Road Alliance Church for many years.
In her later years, she faced health challenges, including dementia.
Ginny is survived by her daughter, Tanya, and her husband, Jake Hinckle; and her beloved grandsons, Colt and Henry Hinckle. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert J. Tull; her mother, Grace Tull Allen; her brother, Robert J. Tull Jr.; and her husband, Gene Thawley. Ginny will be remembered by her family for her life, her presence, and the memories she leaves behind.
