William “Tommy” Thomas Carmine, Jr. of Seaford passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, with his wife by his side. He was born in Lewes on Oct. 9, 1951, the son of the late William and Nellie Carmine.
Tommy had many hobbies to include boating (his boat’s name was “House Money”), playing craps at the casino, working outside, doing yard work, and hanging out with his friends. Tommy never met a stranger, he had a great sense of humor, and he was an avid baseball and football fan, he loved the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Yankees.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Nellie Carmine; his sister, Peggy Hare; and his brother-in-law, Frankin Hare.
Tommy is survived by his wife 31 years, Martha Carmine; his sons, Tom Phillips (Beth) and Greg Wheatley; his daughter, Jordan Crockett (Matt); his grandchildren, Dustin Phillips, Janalee Phillips Robinson, Ella Crockett, and Wyatt Crockett, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 27 at 1 p.m., with a public viewing from noon to 1 p.m. at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley Street, Seaford, DE. Burial will take place at Blades Cemetery following funeral services.
