Roland A. Foskey passed away peacefully on April 22, 2022 from complications of dementia. He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Harry. He is survived by his wife, Ina Ray Calloway Foskey; daughters, Perri O’Keefe (Tom), Erin Foskey; son, Daniel (Theresa); grandchildren, Amanda Foskey, Brian Foskey, Collin O’Keefe; brother, Ronald Foskey; brother-in-law Hunter Calloway (Lynn); sister-in-law,  Pat Brasure Frost (Joe); and many nephews and cousins.

Roland graduated from Wicomico High School (1952) and Salisbury University (1956). He served in the Army where he and his wife lived in Germany. He attended University of Maryland and obtained a master’s degree in administrative education and worked in the P.G. County School system for 30 years. Roland was an outstanding athlete in H.S., college and the Salisbury Industrial League. He won many trophies playing tennis and enjoyed the Mid-Atlantic States competition. He was a longtime member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church and for years a member of Bowie Elks Lodge.

He was always a lovingly devoted husband and father, a real family person, and friends with many. In his later years he was an avid golfer and enjoyed many golf outings and trips with close friends and family.
