Leland “Lee” Richard Farris, III of Blades passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford. He was born in Salisbury on July 9, 1976, a son of Elizabeth Faust Farris of Seaford and the late L. Richard Farris, Jr.

Lee graduated from Seaford High School with the class of 1994. He worked in real estate for Coldwell Banker Resort Realty in Seaford since 2011. He and his wife Bonnie loved music and had many fond memories of road trips to KISS concerts, which was the band he loved the most. He was always ready for a concert and had been looking forward to seeing Alabama in concert later this fall. One of the highlights of Lee’s life was traveling Route 66 to a KISS concert in Oregon, which was a great way to celebrate his 40th birthday. He also loved building with LEGOS, Hot Wheels and was considered a trivia expert by friends. Lee was also a lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Formula One racing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 21 years, Bonnie Jean (Stevenson) Farris; his son, Isaiah Lee Farris; a brother, Robert Farris and his children, Corrin and Rylee; in-laws, Isabel and Jonathan Stevenson, Jr.; and sisters-in-law, Carolyn Kindt and her son, Andrew and Jenny Galbraith (Jason) and their children, Hailey and Ryan.

A celebration of Lee’s life will be held on Saturday, June 19 at 2 p.m. at the Seaford Wesleyan Church, “The Ark,” where family and friends may call from 1 to 2. Pastor David Kiser will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriot’s Way, Milford, DE 19963.
