Susan was a cherished daughter, mother and friend to all that knew her. Following a heroic 14 years of navigating the residual effects of a traumatic brain injury in 2009, Susan left this world unexpectedly on Dec. 7, 2023.
She was born to Lloyd and Janice Harrington of Salisbury on July 30, 1961. After graduating from her beloved Laurel High School, Susan built her career in banking, most recently with Bank of Delmarva, as well as her adoring family to include daughters Emily, Danielle and son, Dayne. She is survived by her children, brother Wesley Harrington, and grandchildren, Monroe Carlin, 6, Lucas Carlin, 3, and Eywa Levredge-Evans, 6.
Susan loved a good concert, motorcycle ride, and summer afternoon picking crabs with her friends and family. She will be remembered for her boisterously contagious laugh and bountiful affection for her loved ones.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. -noon on Friday, Dec. 15 at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home Inc., 700 West Street, Laurel, DE 19956. A Celebration of Life will begin at noon.
