Nina Pamela Flaherty of Seaford and formerly of Scarborough and South Portland, Maine passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2022 at Christiana Hospital in Newark. Born July 3, 1942 in Jersey City, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Frank Gordon Evans, Jr. and Lillian Evans.
Nina worked as a registered nurse at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine for 38 years.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael Joseph Flaherty; two children, Timothy O’Neill and his wife Sharon and Kathy Wiley and her husband Don; grandchildren, Rebecca, Matthew, Meghan, and Rachel; sister, Penny Kelly; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Nina’s life will be held in Maine in the spring.
