Louise P. Foxwell of Laurel, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 15 at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family.

Louise was born July 23, 1931 in Delmar, Del., a daughter of the late George H. Phippin and Edith Catherine (Littleton) Phippin.

She graduated from Delmar High School with the class of ’49 and was active with the Delmar Alumni Association. Louise’s greatest accomplishment was raising her family and being the most loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Barney R. Foxwell and wife Donna; Rex Alan Foxwell and wife Lee; and Dawn L. Pollitt and husband David; grandchildren, BJ Foxwell (Beth), Lance Foxwell, Mason Foxwell, Troy Foxwell (Carolynn), William Mountz, Jason Mountz, Jason Russell (Tina), Joshua Russell (Melanie), Ashley Burton (Jason) and David Pollitt, Jr.; numerous great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Lee (Barney) Foxwell; and a grandson, Andrew Foxwell.
