Linda D. Birch passed away peacefully at TidalHealth Nanticoke on Nov. 22, 2022. She was born on Oct. 3, 1952, the daughter of the late Andrew and Ruth Dunn.
Linda was the Pastor at Woodland Church in Seaford for many years. She enjoyed shopping, sewing, Bible study, spending time with her family and friends, but especially spending time with her grandsons. Aside from being a pastor, Linda was on the board of the Shephard’s Office in Georgetown for several years.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Paul Birch; son Jonathan Birch; daughter Jamie Birch Willey (Craig); grandsons Gage and Kade Willey; brothers, Larry Dunn (Nancy) and Kenneth Dunn (Diane), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Woodland Church, 5123 Woodland Church Rd., Seaford, DE 19973 at 1 p.m. with a visitation from noon to 1 p.m. Interment will take place on Monday, Dec. 12 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation can be made to the Shephard’s Office, 408 N Bedford St., Georgetown, DE 19947 or to Woodland United Methodist Church, 5123 Woodland Church Rd., Seaford, DE 19973.
