Kelly Ann Bruch, née Cordrey, born on Aug. 27, 1958, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late Joan Hart and Donald Cordrey Sr.

Kelly is survived by her father, Donald, and her brothers: Donald Cordrey Jr. and his wife, Donna; Faron Cordrey and his wife, Kiki; Tim Pianka and his wife, Kris; and Gary Pianka and his wife, Kay. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Steven Bruch.

A devoted mother, Kelly leaves behind her three children, Adrienne Edge, Toby Donoway, and Chad Donoway; step children, Robert Bruch and Katherine Bruch, as well as 11 cherished grandchildren; Piper, Simon, Austin, Alyssa, Gaige, River, Cameron, Wolfgang, Ash, Travis and Lana and many nieces and nephews.

Kelly dedicated much of her life to serving others. She volunteered with the Good News Club, helping children develop their reading skills, and was a faithful member of Centenary United Methodist Church. She found joy in spending time with her family, camping, cooking, and being outdoors. Over the last six years, Kelly devoted herself to caring for the elderly. She also had a passion for collecting sea glass, finding beauty and meaning in every piece she discovered.

A memorial service to celebrate Kelly’s life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church in Laurel, where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 to 2. Kelly’s kind heart, love for her family, and unwavering dedication to helping others will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
