Julia “Judy” Susan Faya of Seaford passed away on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, at TidalHealth Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford. She was born on Oct. 1, 1943, in Baltimore, Md., daughter of the late Ralph and Helen Skjoldager.

Judy maintained a lifelong career at Westinghouse Electric as an inspector, retiring after many dedicated years. She had many interests and hobbies which included thrifting, as Judy enjoyed unique finds and bargains. She loved all things outdoors, particularly tending her horses and her meticulously kept yard.  Judy loved all kinds of animals, but her cat was her special friend and constant companion. Above all, she cherished time spent with those she loved most. Judy was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Loved by many, she will be genuinely missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Faya, in 2002. She is survived by her children: Debra Walters of Seaford, Bobby Wall (Stacie) of Howard County, Md., Michael Wall of Seaford, and Jo Ann Wall of Seaford;  her grandchildren: Jeffrey, David, Christopher, Courtney, Kaitlin, Julie, and Joey; two great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Daniel Skjoldager of LA, Steven Skjoldager of Md., and Charlene Kelley of Scotland.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022 at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, a Parsell Family Funeral Home, in Seaford. Interment was private.
