Jeffrey Wayne King of Blades passed away unexpectedly in his home on Jan. 31. Jeff was born in Seaford on Jan. 5, 1982 and graduated from Sussex Technical High School in 2000.

Throughout his life, Jeff held many positions in different fields. His passion was auto mechanics, and his most recent employment was with Bridgeville Auto Center, which he enjoyed. Family was his utmost priority in life. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was loving and kind, and wouldn’t hesitate to do anything he could for those he cared about. Second to that was his love of anything to do with vehicles, taking them apart, putting them back together and buying and selling them. He had a knack for it and loved what he did.

He is survived by his parents, Becky and Mike (Pops) Gustin of Seaford, brother Michael D. Gustin of Seaford, fiancée Sandra Carson and sons CJ and Tommy of Blades, maternal grandmother Lora (Grammy) Young of Seaford, aunts and uncles George King (Colleen) of Susquehanna, Pa., Sue Laura (Joe) of Hebron, Belinda Harriman (Rudy) of Seaford, Amy Tucker (Ray) of Seaford, Shari King of Bethel, and Steven King (Kim) of Magnolia, many cousins and his faithful pup, Wilson.

Jeff was preceded in death by his natural father, Virgil Chaffinch Jr., maternal grandfather George (Poppy) King I and his beloved cousin, Rachel Messick.

A private service for family and close friends was held on Sunday, Feb. 13.
