Gladys Robinson of Seaford passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2023. She was born on Jan. 8, 1949, the daughter of the late George and Edith Lauer.

Gladys retired from DuPont, where she worked for over 30 years. After her retirement, Gladys spent her time relaxing, taking care of her flowers, but most of all she enjoyed eating out at restaurants with close friends. She was also an active member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She is survived by brothers, Robert Lauer Sr. and Ralph Lauer, sister, Betty Hopper, sister-in-law, Mary Ann Robinson, sister-in-law, Shirley Willoughby, close family friend, Carol Pyles (Matt), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, JW “Cliff” Robinson, her parents, George and Edith Lauer, brother, Donald Lauer, and sister, Margaret Lauer.

A public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 13 from noon to 1 p.m. at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley St. in Seaford. The burial will take place at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford following the public viewing.
