Dog lover and red hatter, Flora A. Magaha reunited with her beloved husband, Harry, in Heaven on August 30, 2023, surrounded by family in her Seaford home.

Born on Oct. 31, 1941 in Baltimore to David Louvier and Ruby Woods Louvier, she married Harry Lee Magaha Jr. 60 years ago on June 27. Together, they cultivated a loving and boisterous family.

Flora worked as a secretary while raising her children. She enjoyed shopping, spoiling her grandchildren, playing bridge, and the occasional glass of red wine while reminiscing past adventures with family and friends. Later in life, she preferred to pass time at the VFW listening to music, at home with family, and the Easter Seals with friends.

A loving sister to Leora Maryland Hammond, Alice Lillian McClain, and Vivian Marchant, Flora is survived by her children, Michael (Tammy) Magaha, Colleen (Leonard) Clower II; adoring grandchildren, Lauren Magaha engaged to Brian MacDonald, Michael Magaha, Jr. and partner Erin O’Connor, and Meghan (Mark) Boyd; great-grandchildren Shelby and Harvey Ray; several nieces, and her faithful companion Marta.

A viewing will be held Monday, Sept. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley St., Seaford De. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 1 p.m. at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE. Celebration of life to follow at VFW Post 4961, 9767 Middleford Road, Seaford, DE 19973.
