With deepest sorrow we announce that Dylan Lee Harris passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023. Dylan was born in Seaford on Friday the 13th  in September of 1996. The only boy born on a floor overflowing with girls, Dylan started life as the star of the show. Dylan graduated from Sussex Tech in 2016 and attended DTCC. Dylan enjoyed working outdoors with his hands and was employed by Johns Tree Service.

Those who knew Dylan, even just a little, will certainly miss his charismatic personality, wicked sense of humor and big bear hugs. Dylan left behind four siblings who will now be competing for the title of best-looking sibling and mom’s favorite. Dylan was confident that he held the title in both. Dylan loved so many and was loved by so many more. Dylan loved being around his family and friends, playing video games, reading, and could often be found with his cousin Bobby challenging others to dance offs at most family functions. He was kind and loving, always willing to help those in need.

Dylan was survived by his loving parents Jessica and Jason Garcia; father, Dusty Harris; sisters, Jade Harris (Meggan), Kaitiline Dukes and Rogue Garcia; brothers, Gage Trice and Connor Marvil; and best friend, cousin and brother from another mother Bobby Bove (Anna). He was the favorite grandson of Keith Jefferson and Anita Boyce. He was loved by his Nana Cathy-Craig Miller, Mommom Debbie Garcia, Abuelito Jose Garcia and Grammy Bobbi Jo Jefferson and great grandmother and grandfather Anita and Charles Campbell. He was spoiled all his life- (again the favorite) by his uncles Rick Clark III (Kim), Patrick Jefferson (Danielle), Charles Garcia (Shawna); aunts Tammy Craig, Tessa Slacum (Travis), Sabrina Jefferson (Zachery) and Winter Beth Harris; and nephews Lucas and Leland Bove. His best friends were Hunter Toomey, Evan Serna and Christian Vega. He was also preceded in death by many, many cousins and a collection of bonus aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Edward and Jacqueline Boyce; uncle Edward Boyce, uncle Shawn Starkey, aunt Lisa Dukes, and cousin Edward M. Boyce.

Funeral Services took place on Friday, July 21 at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley Street, in Seaford.
