David M. Kefauver of Bridgeville passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 on the family farm.

He was born on the family farm in Bridgeville on August 30, 1955, the son of the late Nelson Millard Kefauver and Rosalie Short Kefauver.

After his education, he worked as a construction steel fabricator for Job Construction and R & S Fabrication; later he worked for Towers Concrete Products.

David loved his Harley Davidson. He was known to tinker and build; but was loved by all he helped over the years. David had a huge heart and many times he would be on the tractor helping to plow a road or drive for a friend or checking on shut-ins for food and groceries. A family man who will be missed by many.

He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Kefauver of Bunnell, FL and Heather Collins and her husband George of Hurlock; a sister, Sandy Smith of Bridgeville; three grandchildren, Jordyn Grine, Remi Canary and Elizabeth Collins; a nephew, Philip Lee Lord, Jr. (Sandy) of Federalsburg; and Darlene McDonald (Carter) of Bridgeville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Howard “Butch” Kefauver.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 1 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment followed at Concord Cemetery. Share memories with the family at www.framptom.com.
