Clarence M. (Buzz) Coulbourne, a lifelong resident of Seaford,  died on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from complications from pneumonia.

Born on Oct. 6, 1930, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis J. Coulbourne; his parents Clarence Martin Coulbourne and Nettie Cornelia Thomas; his brothers, Floyd W, Ronald B, Jerome C; and half siblings Thomas and Martha.

Buzz is survived by his three daughters Debra Evans (David) of Selbyville, Dawn McKeon (Michael) of Oxford, Pa., and Cathy Hewison (Joe) of Martinsburg, WV; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; loving in-laws, Marilyn Coulbourne and Donald and Marian Faulkner, along with many nieces and nephews.

In 1947 Buzz joined the U.S. Army and was deployed to Germany during the Korean War. Upon his return to Seaford, he rejoined the DuPont Co, retiring in 1990 following 41.5 years of service.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, at 1 p.m. at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley Street, Seaford, with a visitation from noon to 1 p.m. Interment following the service will take place at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
