Christopher W. Calloway of Laurel passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022. Born on March 3, 1959, in Salisbury, he was the son of Mary Beth Calloway of Pittsville and the late J. Wayne Calloway.
He graduated from Parkside High School in 1977 and went on to become an electrician. He loved all things outdoors such as hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. He was a big music fan and enjoyed playing guitar. He was an avid baseball fan, and his favorite team was the Baltimore Orioles.
Christopher is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jan B. Calloway; two sons, Ethan W. Calloway and his son Keegan, and Aaron L. Calloway (Le’Anna Block); a sister, Laura Horner (Scott); his beloved dog Sam, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. at Pittsville Cemetery in Pittsville. M. Shane Moran will officiate.
