Time to get out and enjoy this lovely fall season, and enjoy a chance to help your community with upkeep of the beautiful Chapel Branch Nature Area! The date will be Saturday, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteers will be helping with cleaning the Nature Area’s trails and watersides and also the sides of Woodland Road along the byway. The group will also be removing invasive species at the site and will also have some planting of native plants along our trails and weed removal at our entrance sign. There will be free children’s books available too! Please bring gloves and any tools you may have and join The Nanticoke Conservancy in making our community’s nature area a great benefit to all.
