Brenda M. Wootten of Blades, amazing mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Aug. 31 peacefully in her home. She was born to Ernie and Marie Hill on Sept. 1, 1960. Brenda owned her own bakery for two years. She worked at the sewing factory for three years. She ultimately retired from Seaford School District. She was an active member at Blades Volunteer Fire Department for seven years where she was loved by many. She participated annually in the Locks of Love program. Brenda enjoyed yardsaling and Bingo, but she enjoyed spending time with her family the most, especially watching her grandson play football. She was a collector of many things, but Pioneer Woman and Longaberger were her favorite. 

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marie and Ernie Hill and is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Shane Wootten and Chad and LeShaun Baker; grandchildren, Rachel, Evan and Zachary Wootten and Kara and Madison Hill; a great-grandson Garrett Lankford; brother and sister-in-law Randy and Tammy Hill; and niece and nephew Nikki and Randy Hill. 

Funeral Services were on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at Bethel Worship Center in Seaford. Burial was in Blades Cemetery.
