Bonnie Roth of Laurel passed away on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023 at the Stansell House Coastal Hospice in Berlin surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 13, 1940 in Laurel, daughter of the late Harley and Margaret (Whaley) Boyce. She was beloved by everyone that met her. She was a dedicated daughter, sister, aunt, mother, Grammy, and Gaga. She never missed a birthday, wedding, play, recital, nor the opportunity to tell her family and friends that she was Miss Laurel 1956. She loved travel, family events, class reunions and luncheons with her girlfriends.
She is survived by her sons, Gregory Thomas Holland (Aida) and Brad Harlen Holland (Stefaney); grandchildren, Meghan Hill (Brian), Kaitlin Fiorentino (Anthony), Natalie Holland-Seda, Ariana Holland-Seda, and Juliana Holland-Seda; great-grandchildren, Roman, Elizabeth, Griffin, Ezekiel, and Ridley; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her sons Harold T. Holland, her second husband James Roth, and her brother Dale Boyce.
After her first husband Harold passed away, she married James “Jim” Roth. She is also survived by her extended family Greg Roth (Cindy), Mark Roth (Leza), Scott Roth (Candi) and their children and grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, Aug. 10 at St. John’s UMC in Seaford. Pastor Tim Dukes officiated.
