Bessie Foskey of Seaford passed away peacefully on April 5, 2023. She was born on Oct. 14, 1927, the daughter of the late Frank and Lilly Gootee.
Bessie was a former member of Delaware Campers and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Seaford. She loved crocheting, cooking, as well as various other arts and crafts.
She is survived by her son, Richard Foskey; three daughters, Jo Ann Foskey, Janette Foskey, and Shirley F. Roach (James), as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Aside from her parents, Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Foskey; son, Thomas Foskey; and daughter, Connie Foskey.
Funeral services took place on Wednesday, April 12 at Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford.
