Albert “Buddy” E. Joseph of Laurel passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford. He was born on Feb. 13, 1938 in Milford to the late Melvin and Edna Joseph and lovingly raised by his step-mom Julie Joseph. Buddy formerly owned and operated Joseph Builders and was a talented carpenter. He was a member of the Laurel Saddle Friends, enjoyed horseback riding, and hunting.
Buddy is survived by his sons, Otts Joseph and his wife Sutton and Al Joseph and his wife Laurie; his sister, Dawn Webb (Mike); grandchildren, Kristin Callaway, Jackie Morris, Julie Shockley (Blair), Brittany Joseph, Lauren Ruark (Darin), Karly McAllister (Kyle), Morgan Joseph, Melissa Calloway (Jacob), Alexa Joseph, and Peyton Joseph; eight great grandsons and one great-granddaughter also survive him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Karen E. Joseph, his brother Billy Joseph and his sister Joyce Joseph-Mitchell.
A viewing was held on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West Street in Laurel. Pastor Joe LeCates officiated at the funeral service. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel.
