The Nanticoke River Yacht Club (NRYC) 2026 Youth Fishing Derby will take place Saturday May 16 (rain date May 30). The free event for youth ages 3-12 will include free lunch for all participants and family. Registration will take place at 9 a.m. at the yacht club, fishing from 10 a.m. to noon at the riverwalk pier, and lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. at the yacht club. Prizes will be awarded. Please bring a fishing pole. Loaner Pooles will be available, but limited, and bait will be provided. Life jackets are recommended. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
