Happy 250th America, a semiquincentennial celebration with music of the new nation, will take place Saturday, May 16. Come see the Ampersand Band’s special Revolutionary War-era program, “Music of the New Nation,” focusing on the experience of the home front and everyday people as they faced the Battle for Independence. Food starts at 12:30 p.m. and the program will start at 2 p.m. The event, sponsored by the Federalsburg Historical Society, located at 100 Covey Williams Alley, will include food and baked goods for sale, special door prizes, and a basket raffle. Donations are welcome.
