Thomas Wayne Lloyd was welcomed into the presence of his Lord on Jan. 9, 2026, passing peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born on Feb. 12, 1943, to Amos and Mildred Hearn Lloyd.
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before dedicating many years to work in the Delmarva poultry industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and integrity.
He spent more than 65 years with the love of his life and high school sweetheart, his devoted wife, Wanda F. Craft Lloyd. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and steadfast love.
He is also survived by his daughters, Nicole Lloyd Geiger and her husband Cliff, and Melanie Lloyd Thomas; and his five beloved grandchildren, Garrett Thomas, Mackenzie Thomas (Wolk) (married to Scott Wolk), Olivia Geiger, Andrew Geiger, and Sam Geiger. He treasured his role as father and grandfather, finding his greatest earthly joy in time spent with his grandchildren.
Tom enjoyed bicycling and traveling, but above all, he lived his life grounded in faith and trust in God’s promises. His life reflected quiet strength, devotion, and humility.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
