Vicky Lee Rolph of Seaford passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, in Milford.
Born on Nov. 27, 1947, Thanksgiving Day, in Milford, Vicky’s life reflected the spirit of the day she entered the world: gratitude, generosity, and devotion to family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose quiet strength and gentle presence shaped the lives of all who knew her.
Vicky was married to her devoted husband, Glenn Rolph, for 59 years, with whom she built a life centered on family and care for others. She was the proud mother of Christopher Rolph, Tiffany Ellis, and Trevor Rolph, and was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Kimberly Schwarz. She was also preceded in death by her parents, George “Pat” and June McCutchan.
Her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted grandmother to 12 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren, loving each one with a steady, generous heart. Vicky was a natural caregiver—someone who loved quietly but deeply, always placing others before herself.
Cooking was her love language. Through meals shared around the table, treasured holiday traditions, and especially during Christmas, she showed her love by creating warmth, comfort, and a sense of home for those around her. When she wasn’t cooking, she found joy in reading, working puzzles, and the simple rhythms of home.
Vicky was a woman of quiet faith, living out her devotion not through loud words, but through consistent love, service, and humility. Her legacy is one of faithfulness, gentleness, and unwavering devotion to her family.
A funeral service will be held on Jan. 9 at Blades United Methodist Church. Visitation will take place from noon–1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow the service.
Vicky will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
