It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Cheyenne Elizabeth Young, a vibrant soul who left us far too soon. Cheyenne was born on April 3, 2004, in Laurel to her loving parents, Daryl and Andie Young. She was the cherished sister of David Wooters, Bryan Young, and Rachael Young. She was also an aunt to Jacob Wooters, and Maeve Wooters.

Throughout her life, Cheyenne touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her warmth and compassion were evident to everyone she encountered. She had a radiant smile that could light up a room. Cheyenne had a unique ability to make people feel comfortable and valued, leaving a lasting impact on all her friends and family.

In matters of the heart, Cheyenne was dating Julian Henry, and their love was a source of joy and happiness in her life. Their bond was a testament to the depth of her capacity to love and be loved.

Cheyenne was a dedicated student. She graduated from Laurel High School in 2022, where she excelled academically and socially. Her time in school allowed her to form lasting friendships that enriched her life.

Though Cheyenne’s time with us was tragically cut short, the memories she created and the love she shared will forever be etched in our hearts. As we grieve her loss, we find solace in knowing that she touched so many lives and will be remembered for the extraordinary person she was.

A celebration of Cheyenne’s life was held on Aug. 6 at the Seaford VFW. May Cheyenne Elizabeth Young rest in eternal peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.
