The Laurel Women’s Civic Club is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior who plans to further their education and either attends Laurel High School or resides in the Laurel School District but attends another school. Students who attend Laurel High School, Delmar High School, Sussex Tech High School or Delmarva Christian High School can obtain guidelines and an application from their guidance counselors. Others may call 302-542-3233 to have an application e-mailed.
Eligible students should submit the application, along with a letter of interest explaining their educational and career goals. Include two educational or character reference letters and a transcript.
Submit completed packets to Laurel Women’s Civic Club, P.O. Box 105, Laurel, DE 19956. Applications must be postmarked by May 1, 2022.
