Vincent W. Murphy passed away in his home on April 26, 2020. He was 53 years old and resided in Seaford and Trail’s End, Virginia.
Vincent is survived by his daughter and grandson, Jenna and Tryston Murphy of Seaford and son and granddaughter, Brandon and Ashlynn Ostermann of Federalsburg.
Vincent was born on Nov. 5, in Seaford, Delaware. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris L. Murphy and Leonard W. Murphy and older sister, Debbie Murphy Feller. Vincent is also survived by his four brothers; Phillip, Terry, Dale, and Tommy, all of whom still reside on the Eastern Shore.
Vincent is remembered to be young-at-heart, always. Growing up, he played all sports, including football and tennis, at Colonel Richardson High School where he graduated in 1985. At a young age, he dealt with severe injuries which changed the trajectory of his life. Vincent partnered with his father in business, where he gained his entrepreneurial spirit throughout his life endeavors. Vincent remained constant by the side of his mother during her experience with cancer, until she lost her battle. His compassion during this time was a loving tribute in a time of need.
The family will plan a small private service when they are able to and thank everyone in advance for their thoughts and prayers.
