Trap Pond Partners Amateur Photo Contest 2021 (In memory of Ken O’Neal): Free registration required by Aug. 31. There will be a free class on basic photography tips on Aug. 29 for those registered.
Photo categories are: animals; landscapes or nature; activities or camping; Youth division – 12 and under; adult division – 13 and above. Prizes for each category (youth and adult). All winners receive: annual park pass; pontoon boat ride; winning photos displayed in the Nature Center at the annual Trap Pond Partners meeting; and photo may be used in print media. Winners- honorable mention $50 cash; first place $100 cash plus $50 camp store credit for adults; and free day camp for youth; grand prize winner $200 cash plus free weekend cabin rental and photo displayed in Nature Center for the year.
Registration is free at trappondpartners.com or pick up registration form at the Trap Pond State Park Nature Center or Camp Store. Registration must be received by Aug. 31. Photos must be taken at Trap Pond State Park between June 1 and Sept. 15, 2021.
