Before there was a U.S. Coast Guard, the brave men of the United States Life-Saving Service battled winds and waves to rescue sailors in distress. Join Delaware Seashore State Park Interpretive Programs Manager Tyler Dreiblatt as he discusses the history of Delaware’s six stations and tales of their dramatic rescues along our shores. The lecture is Monday, April 13 at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at ACTS Manor House, 1001 Middleford Rd. in Seaford. Admission and parking are free.
