Mary Sue Drugash of Georgetown passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Beebe Healthcare, in Lewes, of natural causes. She was born on November 29, 1950 to devoted parents, Michael and Anna Drugash.

Mary Sue graduated from Seaford High School and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from Millersville University in Pennsylvania. She spent her professional career as a research librarian at Delaware Technical and Community College’s Georgetown Campus from 1972 to 2018. Mary Sue found great pleasure spending time with students and staff at Del Tech. She developed lifelong friendships through these years which brought her great joy. These friends became her family, and these relationships were precious to her. Mary Sue’s warmth and compassion have left footprints on many hearts over her 46 years at Del Tech.

Mary Sue is survived by her friend, Marge Erthal Conner and Marge’s husband, Carl Conner. Mary Sue and Marge have described themselves as “Sisters by Choice,” and Mary Sue was affectionately called “Aunt Sue” by Marge’s grandchildren. Mary Sue was a beloved and integral part of Marge’s family for 36 years. The love that she shared with them through the years will remain in their hearts always.

A Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Seaford, Delaware will be held at a later date. Service dates and times will be posted on Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium website as updates present themselves.
