Kenneth Eugene Angell of Seaford passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 16, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Ken was born Jan. 24, 1947 in Cheverly, Md. 

Following graduation from Annapolis High School, class of 1965, he served as a SGT in the U.S. Army. He retired from Safeway Stores in 1996 after nearly 32 years of service, where he served as the Easton store manager. Through the years, he enjoyed boating, riding motorcycles, lawn care, and building and repairing things around the house and garage, where he also stored his extensive collection of Hess trucks.

Ken is survived by wife of 33 years, Donna Hastings Angell; sister, Sharon Angell Higgs (Ray); sister-in-law, Joyce Marcellus Angell; sons, Scott Angell, Brian Angell (Jen), Brandon Angell (Susan); daughter, Carreen Kouts (Lenne Sirasky); step-son, Greg Massey (Tricia); grandchildren, Erica Angell Maseda (Thomas), Paige Angell, Alex Angell, Max Angell (Sabrina), Noah Worden, Nicholas Angell, Lily Angell, Curt Kouts (Caitlin), Chase Kouts (Kristin), Jackson Massey, Emma Massey, and Reece Massey; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, cousins, and a special “Aunt” Juanita; as well as his sweet and loyal rescue dog, Lucy.

Ken was predeceased by his parents, Mary (nee Kibler) and Jesse Angell; brothers, Bobby Angell and Steve Angell; and infant grandson, Ethan Angell.

A celebration of the life of Ken Angell will be held on Friday, April 28, at Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford with visitation from 1-2 p.m.; service at 2 p.m.; and reception to follow at Woodland Community Church Fellowship Hall.
