Joseph Bruce Collins of Pittsville, Md, passed away June 17, 2020 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born in Laurel, he is the son of the late Alexander Collins and Helen Kinikin Collins.
Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army for two years. In his earlier years, he had worked as a conductor for Penn Central for over 10 years. Joe was retired from Country Sunrooms as a sales consultant.
He is survived by his sister, Fay Downes and her husband Robert of North Carolina; brothers, Dennis Collins (Polly Melvin) of Pittsville, Kenneth Collins (Linda Collins) of North Carolina, and Rudy Collins of Seaford. A graveside service was held at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 10 a.m. Reverend Howard Travers officiated.
