Joan Corinne Lusby of Seaford passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Genesis Healthcare in Milford. She was born on Oct. 12, 1941 in Lancaster, Penn., daughter of the late Willam James, Jr. and Mary Sikora.
Mrs. Lusby worked as a bookkeeper, retiring from the state of Delaware after many dedicated years. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and reading, but none so much as spending time with those she held most dear. Mrs. Lusby was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lusby was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles A. Lusby. She is survived by her daughter, Corinna Milligan (Brent) of Seaford; her grandchildren: Aaron Milligan, Emily Milligan, and Abbie Milligan, all of Seaford; her brothers: Robert Sikora, William Sikora, and John Sikora; and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Watson-Yates Funeral Home and Crematorium, a member of the Parsell Funeral Family, Seaford.
