Jeanne “Marie” Dawson-Arteaga of Seaford passed away on Oct. 26, 2022.
Marie worked for several retail stores in the Baltimore area in her early years, then she worked for Aqua Electric for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Loreto Arteaga; a daughter, Tayler Dawson; three brothers, John Dawson (Cathy), Jeff Dawson (Cindy) and Chris Dawson (Tasha); three grandchildren, Talia Perez-Dawson, Elena Mendoza and Daniel Mendoza; and many nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Jeanne Dawson; her son, Michael Daniel Dawson; and her sister, Dorothy “Peaches” Dawson.
Funeral services were on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at the Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
