The town of Greenwood recently announced that it has partnered with Greenwood VFW Post 7478 to bring the Hometown Heroes Project to town.
The banners will be placed along Market St., Governors Ave., and Mill St. The cost of the banners is $185, which includes the banner and the bracket to mount it to the pole. Anyone in the 19950 zip code that would like to purchase a banner for a loved one, please complete the form (which can be found at www.greenwood.delaware.gov, at town hall, or at the post office), provide a 5X7 or 8X10 clear photograph and make checks payable to Greenwood VFW Post 7478 and drop it off at town hall or the VFW between 1 and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday to Commander Trapp.
