Harold Keast Brown passed peacefully away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at his home in Seaford. Keast was born in Marionsville, MO and was the son of the late Joy Lyial Brown and Miriam Gladys Keast of Marionsville, Missouri.
Keast was a United States Air Force veteran with over 27 years of active duty military service. After retirement from the armed forces, he held several jobs to keep him busy but his passion was fishing, boating and just being outside.
He is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Wahl and her husband Scott of Missouri, Leslie Hess of New Hampshire, step-son, Roger Joseph and his wife Maria of Seaford, three grandchildren, Joshua Westra, Michael Hess, and Lauren McKessor. He also is survived by six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Ann Currie Brown to whom he was married for over 53 years, and a son, Michael Brown. His loving wife of 11 years, Barbara Jane Brown of Seaford passed away on March 8, 2022.
Services are planned for May or June as Keast donated his body to the Maryland State Anatomy Board for the advancement of medical education and research study.
Keast will be remembered for his sparkle in his blue eyes and his childish wonderful grin. May he continue to have that sparkle and smile down from heaven on his family. Donations in memory of Keast can be sent to VITAS Hospice Care, 30265 Commerce Dr., Suite 202, Millsboro, DE 19966.
