Dylan Branch earned a 2026 Bob Behr Track Coaching Internship Award, providing him with a paid internship to serve as an assistant coach for the Ravens this past spring.

Branch received his internship award from the Friends of Bob Behr Association, a nonprofit organization created by former students of Bob Behr, an innovative track and field coach and teacher at Tower Hill School and a pioneer in women’s track. Friends of Bob Behr Association is committed to nurturing the future of Delaware high school track by funding internships in which aspiring coaches work with proven mentors to develop expertise in training and racing physiology, technique, technology, team dynamics, and meet management.

An all-state middle distance runner at Avon Park (Fla.) High School,  Branch placed second in the 1500 meter run at the NAIA national championships in 2022 while at Montreat College (N.C.) where he was named All-Academic by the Appalachian Athletic Conference and the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Dylan was a volunteer cross-country coach at Sussex Tech in the fall of 2025 and an assistant coach at the school for winter track.

Friends of Bob Behr Association also makes annual Community Service Awards to recognize student-athletes who effect positive change through impactful community service.
