The planning council of the Antique and Custom Car/Truck Show to benefit the Blades Volunteer Fire Department voted unanimously to hold the event on Sunday, Sept. 6 with a rain date of Sept. 7.
The event promises to be one for the record books as the community comes out of seclusion to celebrate being together once again. Car enthusiasts from New Jersey to Virginia are making plans and polishing their hubcaps, as they prepare for this event to return. Vendors are checking stock and putting their extra time to good use as they await the date. Non-profits and private citizens are designing and building their carnival booths.
There will be something for everyone, including an independently judged Antique and Vintage Car/Truck Show, in addition to specialty vehicles that will be displayed on site. Food trucks and vendors will be serving some of the best food on Delmarva. There will be a wide variety of vendors and crafters selling their wares both inside and outside of the fire hall. In another area, there will be a carnival set up to entertain both children and adults. Don’t miss the misting tent, live band, pet friendly water station, giveaways, 50/50 raffle and more!
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Blades Volunteer Fire Department, located at 200 East 5th Street in Blades, Delaware on Sunday, Sept. 6 with a rain date of Sept. 7. Follow us on Facebook under events on the High Street Custom Frame page.
