Thursdays from 1:30-3:30pm. Bring your creativity and your own art supplies, whether it is oil pastels, watercolor, clay, pen and paper – all mediums welcome. This is an open event, a chance to meet other artists, and no experience is necessary. The library will not be able to provide supplies, please bring your own. Join us for a community experience to share ideas, teach each other, and have fun! This program is open to adults only.

The Misadventures of Peter Rabbit
Tuesday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m. FREE puppet show!! It’s not the story you know. Peter Rabbit loses his vegetable money to Ripley Rat and Ripley tells him that Farmer McGregor is giving away vegetables, but that’s not true…From Farmer McGregor, children learn how vegetables are grown and the parts we eat. Then Peter Rabbit engages with the audience to learn about pollinators, good and bad bugs and insectivores Finally, Peter heads home with the vegetables just as Farmer McGregor returns. Will Farmer McGregor catch Peter Rabbit and have bunny burgers for dinner? You’ll have to see the show to find out!
The Jungle Book
Wednesday, July 29 at 10:30am. Come and join us for fun as the actors from Rehoboth Children’s Theatre present The Jungle Book. The Jungle Book is based on Rudyard Kipling’s fanciful stories of India. The kindly old wolf, Akela, and the steadfast bear, Baloo, rescue a baby who is lost in the jungle. They protect Mowgli, the “man cub”, from the tiger, Shere Khan, and raise the boy, teaching him the rules of the jungle. Adding to the fun are Tabaqui the Hyena and Bandar the Monkey. Through a series of adventures and misadventures, the animals learn that the boy is better off living among people. Holding on to the lessons that he has learned in the jungle, Mowgli find a home and family in the village!
