David Lee Calloway of Bridgeville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026. He was surrounded by family and loved ones.

David was born on Nov. 20, 1940, to Walter and Margaret Calloway in Laurel. David and Anna Mae raised their three daughters in the Stein Highway Church of God as David served as the church Secretary and Treasurer. He became a loyal member of the Laurel Exchange Club in 1991 and became president soon thereafter.

David’s most memorable moments were traveling, taking his family to Disney World and driving through the mountains of Sky Line Drive, listening to Frank and Dean, riding around the streets of Laurel, reminiscing and telling stories of his childhood, dining at the Laurel Pizzeria, watching the Andy Griffith Show and visiting “The Porch”.

David was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anna Mae, and his brothers, Charles, Mike and Gary.
