Shirley Lee Workman of Seaford passed away peacefully on Oct. 16, surrounded by her family. Shirley was born in Georgetown on Aug. 19, 1947.
Shirley loved shopping to include antiquing and going to yard sales, she enjoyed crafting ceramic sculptures, and tending to her flower garden, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack Workman; three daughters, Stacy Ricks (Dean), Kathy Ford (Shawn), and Karen Grant (Scott); grandchildren, Megan Ricks, Dean Lokey III, and Gavin Grant. She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Long (Bill) and Holly Pusey (Jay), and her brother, Bruce Downs (Michelle), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Irving and Mable Downs.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 21 at Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford. Interment followed funeral services at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford.
