Plan now to enjoy the Philadelphia Flower show on Thursday, March 7 with members of the Spade and Trowel Garden Club of Seaford. The just-announced theme this year is “United by Flowers,” which celebrates the community that comes together to share in their love of gardening, flowers and plants, and the impact they make on our lives all year round. Now in its 195th year, the early spring show is a place where magic happens, — gardens can be seen indoors at their best before buds emerge in nature — and where designers and growers compete for blue ribbons.
The Spade and Trowel Garden Club has chartered a bus to take participants right to the door of the Pennsylvania Convention Center, boarding in Seaford at 8:30 a.m. and leaving for the return trip at 5 p.m.
Cost is $85, including transportation, tip and admission to the show. Meals are on your own.
