William Ellis Wright of Laurel, passed away on Aug. 7, 2020 at the Lofland Park Center in Seaford. Born in Federalsburg on Aug. 16, 1933, he is the son of the late Ernest and Catherine Wright.
Bill retired from the E. I. DuPont Company in Seaford. In his leisure time, he enjoyed scouting out unique antiques and fishing. He is survived by his sons; Brooks W. Wright and Eric T. Wright; his daughter, Billie Jean Wright, son-in-law, Jerry Hill; granddaughter, Brittany Wright; grandson, James Michael Dougherty III; brothers, Elmer Wright, Ray Wright and his wife Jenny; and sister-in-law, Faye Wright.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Anna Mae Wright; son, Phillip A. Wright; brothers, Maxwell Wright and Enos Wright; and his sister Doris Wright.
All services will be held privately. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel.
