William “Bill” Cooper departed this life on Jan. 27, 2022 at TidalHealth Nanticoke surrounded by his loving family.

William was a private quiet man whose presence was great and noticed. Born to William Preston Cooper (Betty) and Mary Ellen Kline (Eddy), he was the oldest of seven.  

Married to Faith Cooper on July 19, 1974, the two would go on to make many memories together. From their union they brought forth three beautiful children who were their pride and joy: Wendy Lee Jester (Lee Ann), William Joseph Cooper Jr. (Heather) and Jennifer Nicole Serviss (Josh). Bill spent many years at Perdue Farms in Salisbury holding various positions. In his spare time Bill loved going to auctions, collecting and working on antique clocks and in his younger years bowling. 

Bill was preceded in death by his parents William (Betty) Cooper and Mary (Eddy) Kline, and his brother-in-law William Bateman.

Although he was busy there was always time for family. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Faith Cooper; his three children Wendy Jester, William Cooper, and Jennifer Serviss; nine grandchildren CJ Jester (Debbie), Jonathan Cooper (Sarahi), William Jester (Kally), Lily Cooper, Jeremiah Serviss, Jillyan Serviss, Jackson Serviss, Seth Cooper and Alex Cooper; five great-grandchildren Jonathan Cooper Jr., Michael Jester, Gavin Causey, Rylan Causey and Gibson Causey. In addition to cherish his memory are Karen (Joe) Sparrow, Helen Bateman, Bobby (Janie) Chambers, Lynn (Jim) Muir, Matt (Dawn) Cooper and Clifford Cooper.

A celebration to honor the legacy of William Cooper will be held on Feb. 6 at Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury MD 21801. A public visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and a funeral service at noon with the committal at Melson U.M. Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Pastor Greg Morris of Parkway Church of God.
