Willey J. “Jay” Gordy of Felton passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his home.
Jay was born to the late Walter J. and Pauline H. (Willey) Gordy.
He was a resident of Felton for over 50 years. He loved watching sports and enjoyed Lionel trains. He was a skilled machinist and was very proud of having the opportunity to participate in the development and manufacture of the first spacesuits to the moon.
Jay is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Gordy; his two sons, Wesley Gordy and his wife, Sally, and Wade Gordy; as well as his sister, Donna Houston, and her husband, James.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
